Bamboo Hair Comb Dantesmile

Bamboo Hair Comb Dantesmile is an eco-friendly and natural alternative to plastic combs!

We made our bamboo comb Dantesmile out of MOSO (a very big bamboo species) bamboo. As it is a very light material also the comb is very light and very warm and gentle to our eyes, hands and of course hair.

So thanks to bamboo natural material it is also antistatic so you do not need to worry about having your hair flying all over! 😀

For now we have 2 different shapes of combs:

• for straight hair
• and for curly hair

But the choice is of course completely yours! Some like wider teeth and some not so much. 😉

About MOSO bamboo

Moso bamboo a temperate species of giant timber bamboo native to China and Taiwan and naturalised also elsewhere, including Japan.

Only a few bamboos grow larger. In it’s native tropical environment, it can grow over 1m in just one day!

“MOSO” is derived from the chinese words “Mao Zhu” which means “hairy bamboo”. MOSO bamboo culms are covered with a very fine, velvety hair.

Panda Friendly

Bamboo used for making our toothbrushes is not eaten by pandas. Pandas usually eat other smaller species, the most often are these 3:

• Pseudosasa japonica (arrow bamboo),
• Phyllostachys nigra (black bamboo) and
• Phyllostachys bissetii (bissetii bamboo).
